Although convenient to Shaftesbury you are situated in a peaceful spot with panoramic views over open countryside. Easily accessible it is an ideal base throughout the year for a weekend break or a touring holiday. Dorset has something for everyone with countless picturesque villages Shaftesbury and the famous Gold Hill made famous by the Hovis commercials and Gillingham are nearby. The historic cities of Salisbury and Bath are within reach. You will be spoilt for choice for walks as Dorset s beautiful landscape of rolling chalk downland and hidden valleys affords wonderful walking.
