There is much to see and do nearby with the cathedral city of Exeter being a short drive away and offering a huge variety of shops restaurants and amenities to suit all ages and tastes. Closer to home is the town of Tiverton which has a variety of shops and a pretty canal from where you can see the horse drawn barge and even hire one for the day. Visit the idyllic thatched inn at Bickleigh for a bite to eat or a drink or pop along to Bickleigh Castle both situated on the banks of the River Exe. This unique LODGE provides a comfortable living space incorporating a stylish lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with leather sofa wall mounted TV/DVD and Wi-Fi available. Rustic wooden table and benches. Kitchen area with gas range style cooker and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. Wet room: with shower and WC further separate WC both accessed via the private decked area behind the lodge. The SHEPHERDS HUT provides the sleeping area: with double bed woodburner (logs included) and tea/coffee making facilities only. Outside: decked area with large sunken hot tub with garden furniture and BBQ. The Hut lodge and decked areas are fully enclosed. There is also a small separate paddock ideal for ball games or exercising your dog. Outside: separate suntrap decked area outside the shepherds hut providing a sunny spot to relax and sunbathe or just enjoy the peace and tranquillity this is what makes staying here so magical and you will love to return to after a day s exploring.
