DELIGHTFUL CHARACTER COTTAGE IN EASILY ACCESSIBLE VILLAGE LOCATION SLEEPS 4 This pretty cottage has been lovingly decorated and furnished by its owners and includes a fabulous summer room. Located close to a selection of beaches and the Dorset border it provides a great base for some great days out including fossil hunting along the famous Jurassic Coast. An ideal base for touring the South Devon and Dorset coastline which is a short drive away and includes the popular beaches at Charmouth Bridport Lyme Regis Sidmouth Beer and Branscombe. The unspoilt Axe estuary is also nearby with its bird and nature reserve and provides some lovely walking opportunities. The market town of Axminster is 1 mile away with shops inns restaurants a sports centre weekly market and the famous River Cottage Café and Shop run by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. Other attractions in the area include Abbotsbury Crealy Bicton Park Burrows Farm Gardens and a selection of National Trust properties including Killerton and Knightshayes Court. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 twin. Shower room: with electric shower and WC. Additional bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge: with woodburner and flatscreen TV/DVD. Dining room. Summer room: light and airy room providing excellent additional space with woodburner effect gas fire dining table and chairs garden views and fully folding glass doors providing access to garden. Kitchen: with electric oven and hob fridge microwave and dishwasher. Utility room: useful area with freezer and washing machine. Outside: enclosed lawn garden to the front of the property and pretty enclosed garden to the rear with lawn patio area garden furniture BBQ and small feature pond (please note that this is not fenced and children need to be supervised). Amenities: private off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen towels electric central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking inside the property. 1 well-behaved dog welcome.
