The city of Plymouth is approximately 25 minutes drive with its excellent shopping facilities picturesque Barbican Hoe and National Maritime Museum. Outstanding beaches on the north and south coasts are well worth a visit and can be reached within 40 minutes. The area offers some of the county s most popular National Trust properties and gardens including Cotehele with unusual trees and 18th century tower and Ken-Caro with panoramic views and interesting planting throughout the year.
