The lodge is right on the water s edge and offers tranquil views across the water where a variety of wildlife can be observed. Kingfishers are frequent visitors as are ducks woodpeckers swifts and swallows. Try your hand at fishing on 1 of the 2 lakes stocked with carp and tench. Visitors can BBQ on the decked veranda with a glass of wine or hop into your own private hot tub and relax. Alternatively why not stroll down to the island picnic area accessed via a wooden walkway or explore the 6 acres of pretty woodland which is particularly beautiful in the spring and early summer. The land is bordered by a small river therefore extra care should be taken with children. Free access to all of the land and lakes.
