The farm boasts far-reaching views towards the Yorkshire Wolds and is located 2 miles from the bustling village of Thornton Dale and surrounded by forest moor and farmland. The properties make a fabulous base for spectacular walking cycling and great days out across the county. Pickering an ancient market town is less than 5 miles away and offers shopping cafes bars and is the base for the North Yorkshire Heritage Steam Railway which runs across the moors to Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park and Dalby Forest which offers many traditional leisure pursuits are both within a 20 minute drive. The area has a wealth of attractions approximately a 30 minute drive away including the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough Castle Howard (of Brideshead Reviisted fame) pretty market towns including Kirbymoorside Helmsley and Malton and the family theme park Flamingoland.
