Woolacombe offers a long sandy surfing beach and there are also a choice of smaller beaches and sheltered coves as well as the Victorian fishing town of Ilfracombe with beach fishing trips day trips to Lundy Island theatre marine aquarium shops pubs restaurants and galleries. The regional centre of Barnstaple is 4 miles away and offers leisure facilities and cinema. Attractions within the area include National Trust s Arlington Court Broomhill Arts and Sculpture Gardens Marwood Hill Gardens Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle.
