The lodge is close to an array of popular beaches and sheltered coves. Numerous attractions include historic Plymouth with its Hoe Barbican cinema theatre and shops and the English Riviera Buckfast Abbey The Garden House and more all within a short drive. Stroll to the local pub which overlooks the beautiful Newton Creek and serves good food. Try River Yealm mussels or a lovely fish stew. A glass of wine and some sun equals a perfect afternoon. Walkers can also walk across the estuary at low tide to Noss Mayo where there is a further selection of pubs and eateries a truly idyllic spot.
