CONVERTED BARN A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE SEA This lovely detached barn conversion is tucked away in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the coast. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and retains original features whilst introducing the 21st century. Located near the popular coastal village of Seahouses it provides a fantastic base to explore the rest of the Northumberland coast and also to venture inland. Seahouses has a unique harbour wide sandy beaches and dunes that stretch for miles. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh is close by offering a range of shops pubs restaurants and most notoriously an impressive castle. To the north of the cottage is the fabulous Holy Island. Within an hour s drive you can reach the Berwick-upon-Tweed Alnwick Newcastle numerous National Trust properties and wildlife centres and various other lovely Northumberland villages and towns. You can even head to Edinburgh for the day. Other attractions include Farne Islands Hadrian s Wall Alnwick and Dunstaburgh Castles and horse riding on the beach. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite shower room with WC 1 further double and 1 room with bunk beds. Bathroom: bath with shower over and WC. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge: TV with Freeview and DVD and woodburner effect gas fire. Kitchen/diner: spacious with electric cooker and gas hob fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave washing machine tumble dryer and patio doors. Outside: enclosed patio and garden with seating. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels electric and heating included. Wi-Fi available. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Additional info: Seafield Ocean Club is a 2 minute drive and whilst staying at the cottage membership will be included although a nominal fee applies.
