Asphodel Cottage will take your breath away, without question! Situated in the sleepy village of Tarlton (half way between Cirencester and Tetbury) this thatched cottage is possibly the most romantic cottage we have come across. Dating back over 400 years it was once home a particularly tall shepherd which explains the higher than normal ceilings! Internally the property has been carefully, restored to provide superb self catering accommodation, with many Cotswold charms such as original oak beams, flagstone floors and inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. The property also has many contemporary touches with quality bed and bedding and a sumptuous bathroom which altogether create a real sense of luxury. The cottage has a delightful garden with superb views across Cotswold countryside with the source of the River Thames just a short walk away.
