Beautifully restored, well-equipped and full of character, this 350-year old detached farmhouse lies in the small hamlet of Helton, and offers wonderful views across the countryside to Knipe Scar. A rustic feel makes this cottage an instant ‘home from home’, and the spacious rooms offer very comfortable, welcoming accommodation. The farmhouse kitchen has an Aga cooker and stone-flagged floor, while in the living room guests can relax in front of the open fire or on one of the window seats. Outside, a large, landscaped mature garden makes a great spot for an evening meal. Walkers will love the direct fell access from the doorstep, while Ullswater lake can be reached by a beautiful three-mile walk directly from the property.
