Situated in the stunning Borrowdale Valley, with panoramic views from the front to the Derwentwater fells Ivy Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage. The cottage was refurbished in 2008, including the addition of a modern kitchen and bathroom and decorated and recarpeted throughout. It is the middle cottage of three just through Rosthwaite village, close to Stonethwaite and Seatoller and ideally situated to walk Scafell, Great Gable and many fells surrounding Derwentwater. There is a public bar in the Langstrath hotel, 1/4 mile and the village shop and bar in Rosthwaite,1/2 mile.
