Both villages are surrounded by lovely, undulating countryside between the picturesque Glaven Valley and the North Norfolk Coast. The sandy beaches of Wells and Holkham are a short distance away. Little Walsingham is the more historic of the two, has an excellent and award-winning farm shop, numerous cafes, a renowned fish & chip shop which is a well- kept secret, and pubs and restaurants. Great Walsingham has a craft centre with shops and tea room. Cycle Routes 1 & 2 are on the doorstop and will take you to the coastal villages of Cley, Salthouse and Weybourne. Osprey Cottage was built two years ago in a traditional Norfolk style. The property is spacious and well equipped, and is within walking distance of the centre of historic Little Walsingham.
