Set in the small rural village of Snainton, a mile from Barnard Castle, this mid-terraced cottage makes a lovely cosy base for a romantic break or family holiday. There are two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. There is also a family bathroom, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an electric fire in an attractive fireplace. Outside, a small front garden with furniture makes an ideal spot for a BBQ, and there is also off road parking for a few cars. Barnard Castle has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the castle ruins, riverside walks and narrow cobbled alleyways to explore. There is great walking through the Teesdale countryside, and impressive waterfalls including High Force, within easy reach.
