There are also three lovely areas of open common within the parish which are ideal for walking. The coastal resort and nature reserves are all within easy reach - Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick. The southern broads and many inland beauty spots can be found within half an hour's drive. Trains are only three miles away at Halesworth.
