Rookery Nook is a charmingly converted outbuilding just behind the owners' house. Approached from the main road that leads from Hastings to Rochester, backing onto fields so you quickly forget the bustle of traffic in a peaceful rural setting. The cottage is a short distance from the market town of Cranbrook and very close to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. It is an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful Weald of Kent and, with Staplehurst just up the road for easy rail links to London, Canterbury and the coast. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 1 mile Coast: 22 miles == Ground Floor: Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, small freezer, microwave and washing machine small step down to Sitting/Dining Room with sofas, TV/ DVD, multi-fuel burner plus door to garden Dining Area off the kitchen is Shower Room with large shower cubicle, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c. Beyond the sitting room and a small step up is Bedroom with super king-size bed (which can be separated to make twin beds if required) and French doors to garden == Garden: Private partially walled garden. Parking: Adjacent to the main house. Heating: Electric radiators and multi-fuel burner. Also Provided: Comfortable Z bed is available. First basket of logs.
