Laxton Fortune comprises two of ten luxury lodges in the peaceful, idyllic surroundings of Constable Country, near Stoke by Nayland in Suffolk. They're perfect for romantic escapes, cosy family and friends reunions and golf and spa breaks for six guests. Spacious and bright, each of the two floors offers a large open-plan living, kitchen and dining area which features floor-to-ceiling windows at one end, with patio doors leading out onto large balconies looking out over the beautiful Suffolk countryside - just perfect for a leisurely breakfast or BBQ, a spot of sunbathing or perhaps an evening cocktail or two as the sun goes down. On the ground floor there are two spacious en suite double bedrooms, and on the first floor there is a luxurious penthouse en suite bedroom with high ceilings and chandelier. Each of the three bedrooms offer zip and link beds which can either be twins, or can be zipped together to make a super king-size bed.
Up to ten Lodges here – offering a total of 16 double ensuite bedrooms - can also be booked together for much larger groups of up to 32 guests. These are all within a five minutes’ drive of the nearby outstanding facilities at the family-owned Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa. There is a Lodge Porter on hand at all times to transport you to the hotel should you wish to indulge in a spa treatment, tone up in the Technogym, play a round or two of golf, or treat yourself to a meal in the onsite 2 AA Rosette restaurant, without being concerned about drinking and driving - it’s all so easy. You can even have one of the Hotel’s Chefs prepare a bespoke menu and serve it to you in the comfort and privacy of your lodge if you really want to treat yourselves! Accommodation overview: Oak and May Cottages are two very well presented properties converted from a stone barn. Set in their own grounds at the head of a stunning rural valley, the properties boast lovely views from the garden across farmland. The accommodation (adjacent to the owners' home) is cleverly set out over two floors and is ideally suited to a couple or young family. Whilst the cottages are available individually, they may also suit two families looking for adjacent accommodation sleeping up to eight in total. The cottages are in a wonderful setting of outstanding natural beauty overlooking farmland, and just 1 1/2 miles from the beautiful estuary town of Salcombe, with its spectacular coastline and fine sandy beaches. The village of Malborough - with two pubs, post office/village stores and garage - is only third of a mile away. Salcombe and Malborough can now be reached via a newly constructed cycle/walk path accessed from the top of the drive.All guests have access to the outdoor solar heated swimming pool (usually available from late May to the end of September) and are welcome to meet the resident herd of Shetland ponies!

Accommodation overview: Ryeworth Cottage, Kingham is an exceptional Cotswold Holiday Cottage set in one of the areas most desirable and attractive villages, roughly equi-distant between Burford and Chipping Norton. The village has everything you could want for a Cotswolds' break, including award winning pubs and a comprehensive local store. It has many excellent walks surrounding it, but perhaps of great appeal to some is the convenience of the Daylesford Organic (described in The Telegraph as 'the UK's poshest shop'!!) The cottage, which is semi detached, is a simply stunning holiday home spread across four floors with spacious rooms throughout. The large welcoming living space, plus the three bathrooms (for three bedrooms) make this a thoroughly attractive option. However and perhaps most amazing, if this is possible, is the swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. In addition and on request, is a tennis court. This holiday cottage really has it all and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation.
