Lookout is a contemporary split level detached house overlooking the beautiful southern Cornish coastline. Situated at the gateway to Cornwall, a mere 15 minute drive from Plymouth, Downderry is a small village and although there are few shops they do offer everything for that essential purchase. There is also good eating in 'The Blue Plate' Restaurant, Waves bar and other local pubs and restaurants.
Guests can walk down to the beach which is approximately a five minute walk and is a mix of sand and shingle. Set amongst breathtaking views, this beautiful self catering accommodation sleeps six people in three spacious bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. All rooms provide stunning panoramic views of the sea. The front door opens into a welcoming reception lobby leading to a cloakroom and large open plan kitchen. diner and sitting room. The seaward view spans across Rame Head to Eddystone lighthouse and Looe Island. The living area is perfect for a holiday in any weather. In summer, the living space can be extended to incorporate the decking and fully enjoy the view by opening the bi-folding doors. Whilst in winter the storms can be watched rolling in across the bay, with the comfort of the open fire. A perfect retreat to suit all!
The garden is a south facing sun trap with wonderful views and is terraced with steps leading down to a small lawn area. Merlins Cottage (although more a house) is situated down a quiet private dead end track with panoramic sea views. It lies in the small coastal hamlet of Trevillick just a five-minute walk across National Trust farm land from the historic town of Tintagel.
The large garden enjoys superb views across Port Isaac Bay to Trevose Head.
Merlins is situated on the SW coastal path which provides miles of fantastic walks and breathtaking scenery.
Tintagel is famous for the legendary Knights of the Round Table and has many shops, pubs and cafes.
The cottage is a 15 minute walk from Trebarwith Strand which is a popular surfing and dog friendly beach and is only a 20 minute drive south to the sailing amenities of Rock and Polzeath. Six miles to the east lies Bodmin Moor, with outstanding cycling and hiking opportunities.

Rosemundy Villa is a detached Grade II listed Georgian house set on the North Cornwall coast in the attractive village of St Agnes which is both a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site. St Agnes lies nine miles north of the cathedral city of Truro and Newquay airport is easily accessible.
There is a good choice of local shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. St Agnes has two excellent sandy beaches; Trevaunance Cove ( a ten minute walk downhill) and Chapel Porth which is owned by the National Trust. Both are popular with all ages from families rock pooling to keen surfers. Surf lessons and equipment hire are available at Trevaunance Cove and coasteering and guided kayaking are further options. The perfect romantic hideaway for two, Barnacles has undergone extensive refurbishment and is now a perfectly snug and luxurious romantic retreat.
Barnacles is a waterfront apartment accessed from a street level front door, down a flight of stairs leading down into a hallway, with the entrance to the apartment at the end on the left.
Please note the passageway into Barnacles has shared access with the freeholder, who very occasionally uses it.
The property enjoys steps leading down to the sandy water's edge and is an idyllic spot in which to enjoy a special holiday break. Set in a building that was once a chandlers, where transactions took place from boats moored alongside the decking, it now affords views of the Boddinik Ferry and of the constantly changing river scenes.
The ancient town of Fowey, with its harbour, yacht clubs and historic buildings, has much to offer its visitors. Narrow streets lead to interesting shops, excellent restaurants, bistros and pubs, also allowing access to cliff tops and small sandy beaches at Readymoney Cove, plus a myriad of activities such as sea trips, boat hire and guided tours.
The May 'Daphne Du Maurier week' (whose family home is directly opposite Barnacles), the August 'Fowey Royal Regatta' and the Christmas Fayre all bring visitors to these immensely popular events. Within a 10 minute drive are the beaches of Par and Polkerris, whilst a little further afield, are the visitor attractions of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Tregadjack Barn is an enchanting, 'upside-down', detached, local Cornish stone holiday cottage elegantly furnished with antiques. It is in a private, tranquil setting within 20 acres. Nearby is the pretty harbour of Porthleven which offers a host of excellent restaurants and pubs, also a super fishmongers and crab shop, or why not catch your own on a fishing trip?

Tregadjack Barn is ideally located for visiting all the great Cornish gardens - Heligan, Trebah, Eden, Glendurgan and Trelissick. This part of Cornwall has plenty to offer, with St Ives, Penzance, Truro and The Helford River all within a 20 to 40 minute drive.
An ideal UK golf and outdoor break, Tregadjack Barn is centrally placed to access all the very best surfing, sailing, diving and golfing destinations that Cornwall has to offer and of course is well placed to walk a different stretch of the coastal path each day with field walks from the garden gate. Take a nostalgic ride on the restored Helston Railway which will stop for you at the bottom of the garden.
