A large, detached house located down a long drive on the edge of the premium (and quite famous) Cotswolds village of Fairford, it offers just about everything you could wish for when looking for an exclusive holiday home. From our perspective, we found the kitchen/diner the real heart of the house, warm and inviting with its huge Aga, and enjoying superb views across the private gardens and paddock beyond, both of which are perfect for children (and adults of course!) to play ball games. This is one for the family, it is also one for friends too given it's superb layout and location in this historic village. Many famous Cotswold villages are within twenty minutes by car such as Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, The Slaughters, The Swells, Great and Little Barrington, Moreton-in-Marsh etc. The famous gardens of Kiftsgate and Hidcote are about forty minutes away, not far from the delightful town of Chipping Campden. Westonbirt Arboretum is forty minutes to the South and Batsford Arboretum about twenty minutes North. Many interesting local gardens are open through the season.
