Accommodation overview: Little Stalls is a beautiful, one bedroom barn conversion located in truly peaceful surroundings on the edge of a working farm deep in Cotswolds countryside. The property has undergone a painstaking and complete refurbishment to provide the highest quality in self catering accommodation. No detail has been left with the result a truly superb holiday cottage. The barn is on the edge of the village of Kemble, a traditional Cotswold village that is well located for touring the Cotswold region. In our opinion Little Stalls is a wonderful Cotswold bolt-hole offering real peace and tranquility. The village itself has a small shop and also the benefit of a train station with direct links to London. This has to be one of our finest holiday cottages. Accommodation overview: Wadham Cottage is a fine and charming Cotswold holiday cottage set very convenient for the the centre of this very popular village. The property is located within a traditional terrace of old worker cottages, which were originally called the 'Church Cottages'. Today the property, as you would expect with such history, including a strong association with Wadham College, Oxford, has many Cotswolds features including the classic beams that make the rooms so cosy. The cottage was updated in recent years and provides very comfortable accommodation for two or possibly four with a second bedroom on the top floor*. Of particular appeal is the fact that the attractions of Bourton on the Water are approximately 2 minutes walk away! ACCOMMODATIONEntrance to the property is through to kitchen. Although there is a 'front' door, entry to and from the cottage is better through the 'back' door.Kitchen, well equipped, with gas hob and gas oven/grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment plus a traditional Welsh dresser. Bookers Cottage, set in its own apple orchard, was built in the 19th century in traditional mellow Cotswold stone, and is roofed in lichen-covered Stonesfield mellow slates. Built in Victorian times our twelve cottages have won many awards including 5 star recognition and the English Tourist Boards Excellence Award. The properties were converted by Mrs. Judy Astor, our proprietor, back in 1992 and have been developed and refurbished over time to reflect our guests' wants and needs.
