The cottage is a very good size for four people, but has the advantage of an extra bed if a fifth person wishes to travel*. The living room is particularly attractive with great views across the well tended (but of course!) allotments and fields beyond. The cottage also has two bathrooms which also make it suitable for two couples just as much for a family. Located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold town of Burford, and right next to the famous 14th/15th Century church (described as the finest in Oxfordshire) this classic Cotswold cottage has everything to make your holiday truly enjoyable. Hunter Court is a luxury holiday house set in the idyllic Cotswold village of Clanfield. This substantial home is very spacious, and is tastefully decorated with a relaxed, family home feel.
The five acre property comprises two fields (often with sheep) and a walled garden of approximately half an acre.
The self-catering holiday retreat is a two minute walk from two cosy 17th century pubs with excellent food and roaring log fires. Clanfield is an ideal location for an outdoor break in Oxfordshire with plenty of walks as well as cycling, fishing and boating (the Thames is only two miles away). Burford is eight miles away, Oxford 21 miles and Cirencester 18 miles.
Heathrow Airport can be reached in an hour and 10 minutes and the nearest train stations are Oxford (21 miles) and Didcot (22 miles), Charlbury (16 miles) and Swindon (17 miles).
