All this plus the most amazing, indoor swimming pool and steam room (Turkish Hammam) which are of the highest quality and for guests' use. Located next door to Ryeworth Cottage (Ref: RYE) this cottage has everything you could wish for and is suitable for customers who expect the very best in self catering accommodation. Detached from the main village in a peaceful and secluded valley surrounded by oak trees, Little Barn is a popular holiday cottage which has been converted to a high specification. Exposed beams and solid pine doors and furniture, with flagstone floors downstairs and fitted carpets upstairs create a rich, cosy property with a welcoming ambience. From the cottage, there is a large secure courtyard facing south with large pots of flowers and garden furniture. Ascott is a small peaceful hamlet about half a mile beyond Whichford. The cottage is a very good size for four people, but has the advantage of an extra bed if a fifth person wishes to travel*. The cottage also has two bathrooms which also make it suitable for two couples just as much for a family. Even though it is short walk from the centre of this very popular Cotswolds market town, the property enjoys a super view overlooking a 4 acre paddock with ponies and chickens. (You can actually get some free-range eggs if you wish in your welcome hamper on arrival.) The property offers modern accommodation over two floors, with two ensuite bedrooms on the lower level, which may appeal to those with limited mobility.
