Accommodation overview: Close to the sea, forest and heaths. Tinkers cottage is also close to a good pub at Dunwich. Dunwich is an unspoilt coastal village with a mainly shingle beach. The Ship Inn serves good meals as does the Beach Cafe which is well known for its fish and chips - enjoyed best on the beach. Dunwich adjoins Dingle Marshes Nature Reserve, Dunwich Heath (cliff top is National Trust owned) and Minsmere RSPB is only three miles by foot. Southwold and Aldeburgh are both ten miles away. Trains and buses can be found four miles away at Darsham. Tinker's Cottage is only 300 yards from the beach and has excellent walks from the doorstep.
