The area is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, it lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next to a nature reserve with a wide variety of wildlife, birdlife, flora and fauna. Although the cottage has a no pets policy there is a boarding kennels in the village - less than two minutes walk: Fingland Boarding Kennels and Cattery.
