Accommodation overview: Dairy Cottage is an attractive holiday cottage situated in the stunning Cotswolds village of Minster Lovell. The cottage is attached the owner's home and sits within 3 acres of gardens which roll down towards the River Windrush. Internally the cottage is a spacious and charming holiday home with many character features including old timbers and exposed walls and attractive furnishings. The cottage enjoys it's own private and enclosed garden with access to the owners' gardens as well access to an indoor swimming pool and tennis court* and fishing on the river. Locally is the beautiful village which has a small hotel / pub and some tremendous walks into the countryside. Accommodation overview: Lane Farm House in Shipton under Wychwood is a very large house set in the midst of the lovely village of Shipton under Wychwood. A 14th Century rambling farmhouse, with accommodation for 16 people, with potential space for more if required. Internally the property is presented in a traditional and basic style with large living space ideal for party get-togethers. The property is clean and welcoming and is certainly very good value for money given the size of the accommodation. There is the ability to take additional beds within the bedrooms (to exceed 16 people) and all bedrooms can be single beds or double,  although we would like to add that the seating and dining seating will be tight! The enormous main kitchen has granite tops, an Aga and large dining table. Nice and bright sitting room with a wood burning stove, (logs available), lots of bedrooms each very individual, and 'Eagles Nest' at the top of the house. Accommodation overview: Rectory Cottage, Alvescot is a truly classic Cotswolds cottage built in traditional stone under a Cotswold tile roof, but presented in a beautifully cool and contemporary style that makes it a stunning option for groups or families of up to 10 people. Set overlooking fields and surrounded by period Cotswold properties this delightful holiday cottage offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation. Internally, the owners have created a stunning home, which while contemporary it retains a wealth of period features that give a real sense of warmth and 'welcome'. The accommodation, which is set over three floors and with good size rooms throughout, has many period features through out. Including flagstone flooring, beams and mullion windows but of particular appeal is the kitchen which is, as they say, 'where the heart is': a gorgeous light room with a vaulted ceiling and Aga. When we visited the property we came away with the wow factor very much in our minds, we're confident that you'll feel just the same when you walk through the door too! Sunnylea Cottage details

Sunnylea is a pretty limestone cottage, hidden away in a backwater, close to the centre of the typical 'White Peak' village of Great Longstone. Just four miles from the market town of Bakewell it is central to all the attractions of the Peak District.

There are countless opportunities for walking, cycling and climbing. Excursions might include Chatsworth, Haddon and Eyam Halls, the Castleton caverns and Buxton Opera House. The Monsal trail passes by less than half a mile from the village and numerous footpaths mean that you can walk from the door.

Local villages have fetes and flower festivals during the summer, and you will never be far away from tea and cake! When you return to Sunny Lea you might simply relax in the sunny south-west facing garden, or in the winter months in front of the open range.

Should you wish to eat out, the village has two pubs serving good food within a five minute walk. A 15 minute walk over the fields will take you to the Packhorse in Little Longstone, an unspoilt country pub, popular with walkers, which also serves good food.

This self-catering luxury retreat is only a few minutes' walk from the upper reaches of Dovedale and Manifold Valley in the Peak District National Park. The Royal Oak, a good eating pub, is 100 yards away. Ivy House can be booked together with Reading Room (DE005), which is adjacent and sleeps four guests. There is an interconnecting door between the two properties with low headroom.

A converted barn (formerly the Coach House to the Vicarage as you'd expect!) it contains many attractive features that give it that traditional and welcoming feel. The barn is set in the grounds of one of the finest houses in this village, and within one of the most 'sort-after' Cotswolds villages - Swinbrook. Within walking distance is the popular and highly regarded pub - The Swan. There are many walks from your front door, including one along the Windrush Valley to Burford.
