Memorial Cottage is a Grade II listed, period stone, terraced, holiday cottage lying a few minutes' walk from the centre of the village.

Eyam, a beautiful unspoilt village set high among the moors in the north of the National Park between Bakewell and Castleton.

The village has a museum, hall, several shops and a good pub, the Miners Arms. This is prime rambling country and a hill track across Eyam Moor at the back of the village climbs to 1,200ft above sea level and offers spectacular views of Axe Edge, Maw Tor and Kinderscout.

Accommodation overview: Robbie's Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie's is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners' home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase! The Reading Room is situated adjacent to Ivy House in the charming village of Wetton, in the heart of the Peak District, close to Dovedale and the Manifold Valley, and the start point for some of the most attractive walks in the National Park.

The stone cottage is an imaginative conversion of one of the original Chatsworth Estate Reading Rooms.

For accommodation for a larger party the Reading Room can either be booked with Ivy House, or booked separately. There is a connecting passage on the ground floor between the two properties, with a lockable door (with low headroom) to protect guest privacy.

These self-catering luxury retreats are only a few minutes' walk from the upper reaches of Dovedale and Manifold Valley in the Peak District National Park.

The Royal Oak, a good eating pub, is 100 yards away.

Ivy House (DE006) and Reading Room (DE005) sleep six guests and four guests respectively and can be booked together to accommodate 10 guests. There is an interconnecting door between the two properties with low headroom.
