The property is moments from the High Street and Market Square with their amenities and shops, making it excellent spot from which to enjoy this classic Cotswolds' town. The apartment is presented in an airy style, with the huge mullion window dominating the living space, throwing light into the property! Outside, there is a small sunny garden to the side which is perfect for relaxing. In our opinion this is a lovely location with space and convenience the major benefits. Accommodation overview: Backlodge Stables is an extremely high standard of self catering accommodation situated in a superb location in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. The accommodation is actually two components (The Stables and The Tack Room) which combined offer four bedrooms and three bathrooms but allow one couple to enjoy more privacy with their own self contained facilities. Access between the two properties is about 15 paces along the path! The large open plan living space in The Stables is perfect for large families or groups with large sofas and dining facilities making it suitable for general entertaining. It's central, yet quiet, location also make it a great spot for the wealth of Stratford's attractions, see below. We loved these properties. ACCOMMODATIONThe main entrance is to The Stables, with access to The Tack Room approx 10 yards away. The Stables has:Large Living Space with two large sofas, additional seating, large flatscreen TV, Freeview, DVD player and gas flame fire. Kitchen / Diner with large dining table and 8 chairs and fully equipped kitchen with halogen hob, oven, grill, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave and large fridge freezer. There are three bedrooms on the first floor; two with king size double beds and one with twin single beds. There is one ensuite bathroom and one family bathroom. All bedrooms have wardrobe and chest of drawersThe Tack Room is a completely self contained property, with it's own fully equipped kitchen, plus living room with TV, DVD etc. Upstairs there is a bedroom suite, with king size double bed and wardrobe plus ensuite shower room.OutsideThe Stables has an enclosed, south facing courtyard with table and chairs. The Tack Room also has small outdoor space, but this is not connected with The Stables please note.Sorry No Pets. Children Welcome, Cot and High Chair Available. The property, which has been within the same family for generations, has been carefully renovated with a real attention to detail and a delightful art deco 'twist' maikng it unique and very appealing. Many of the original features such as the wooden floors have been beautifully retained. The accommodation, which is detached and across two floors is both spacious and cosy at the same time and overlooks the garden in all directions. Outside is a large garden with ample off street parking.
