Accommodation overview: Near the old Cotswold market town of Stow on the Wold, hidden at the end of a private drive are two cosy self catering holiday cottages.

Well and Stable cottage are set in a secluded, peaceful location on a small farm and enjoy far reaching and uninterupted views.

There are large grass lawned areas with seating, pinic tables and barbeque, ideal for children and dogs (no restriction on size or number of dogs)

The cottages are fully equiped with all essential appliances including dish washer, a washing machine and tumble drier are also available to guests.

There is a TV with free view and DVD player in the lounges and double bedrooms. Both cottages have broadband connection.

The cottage has a delightfully cosy feeling to it with an open fire giving a real 'homely' feel to the cottage. Situated at the end of a long winding drive (off a quiet country lane!) the cottage, which is attached to the owners' home, opens out onto a patio and lawned garden for exclusive use of the cottage, with open fields beyond. Internally the owners have created a welcoming holiday home that is perfect for families and small groups alike with ample space for people to spread out and relax. Particular attention is brought to the night sky views which, due to zero light pollution, are spectacular on a clear evening. With a local village pub approx 3/4m away, we see this as a 'quintessential holiday cottage' with views, walks and location all combining to create an appealing option. Renovated to a very exacting standard by its owners, this holiday cottage is an absolute gem with every care taken to ensure that the accommodation is of the highest standard. Internally the property retains many classic features including an Aga and open fire and is presented in a wonderfully cosy yet modern style that absolutely fits 'the feel' of the cottage. Externally the cottage is set within the grounds of the owner's home overlooking private gardens with river frontage and rolling Cotswolds Hills beyond. In every resepct this we recommend this self catering cottage. We fell in love with the location the moment we drove through the private gates - it really is the ideal spot for friends or family to relax and unwind and to enjoy the open space that this location affords. There are fine views from the grounds, behind Woodland Cottage, across the rolling countryside which offers numerous walks straight from the door. You may be lucky enough to spot the local red deer and many varieties of birds. There is also a lake, with ornamental fish, where guests can sit and enjoy a glass of wine.

The nearest pubs and shops are located in South Molton and Kings Nympton just four miles away. There is a large selection of pubs and restaurants in the area including the Michelin Star awarded the Masons Arms which is only a brief drive from the cottage.
