The Cider Mill is a charming grade ll listed building with original features of oak beams and exposed brick work. The property displays a real sense of place with the back drop of the farm’s own orchard, enveloped within the Herefordshire countryside famous for its’ cider production. This once working 16th Century Cider Mill now provides luxury country living with a spacious lounge and kitchen area and a unique cylindrical bedroom. The property also has its’ own private walled garden with access to the grounds.
It is situated in the hamlet of Catley, a mile from the village of Bosbury and only 20 minutes from the M50. Two local pubs are within a mile and a half, the Bell at Bosbury and the Oak at Staplow. Both serve local ales, excellent food and take-outs. The area is a perfect retreat for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside.
The old town of Ledbury has its traditional black and white buildings but within them are a very eclectic range of independent shops and restaurants. Close by are Eastnor Castle, the Three Choirs Vineyard and Westons Cider Mill. The cities of Hereford and Worcester are an equidistant 15 miles. Both have beautiful cathedrals and riverside settings. Hereford has the famous Mappa Mundi and Worcester its cricket ground and racecourse.
The Malvern Hills are just 20 minutes away together with its spa town and theatre. Ludlow, Hay-on-Wye, Gloucester and Cheltenham are all less than an hour away with their own renowned festivals.

The property, which has a history dating back hundreds of years, was once part of the village's Manor House, offers lovely large rooms throughout, all presented in an attractive and stylish fashion, with careful attention given to mixing contemporary furniture with traditional cottage features. Of particular appeal is the spacious living area, which is light, airy and inviting. As one would expect with a property of such history there are delightful, mature gardens, which customers can enjoy (see below*), in fact the owners are able to offer seasonal 'home grown produce' to customers - wonderful!! Locally, the village of Great Somerford is a thriving community with an excellent local shop and pub both within a 5 minute walk. Amongst a few 'claims to fame' is the fact that the village is believed to have the country's oldest allotment with notes of a private growing dating back to 1809! Nearby is the market town of Malmesbury, which has a beautiful church, with Tetbury. 15 mins drive, an antique collectors heaven a little further away. Westonbirt Arboretum, with its amazing walks and forests is within 2o minutes drive. Bath, in particular, is a convenient drive away as are a wide variety of Cotswold attractions and attractive villages.

The nearest facilities are only five minutes' drive away in the historic market town of Bromyard in Herefordshire which offers pubs, banks, post office, chemist, supermarket, delicatessen and butchers. Places to visit include the cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford and the market towns of Ledbury and Ludlow which are all within 30 minutes' drive, and the beautiful Wye Valley and Welsh Borders approximately one hour away. There are several good gastro-pubs within 15 minutes' drive and many National Trust properties that are well worth a visit.
Wall Hills is the ideal celebration venue for family or friends. The open plan kitchen/living/dining area in the main barn makes it most suitable for special social occasions. The smaller stone barn is connected on the first floor and offers a quieter snug/living room, two further bedrooms and a well equipped playroom for young and old guests alike.
