Accommodation overview: Peddars Cottage is a modern cottage style house next to the ancient Bailey Gate in the centre of the historic village of Castle Acre that provides comfortable, well equipped accommodation, Castle Acre is a pretty North-West Norfolk conservation village which is steeped in history and has a timeless quality to it. The Norman Castle earthworks and the beautiful ruins of the magnificent Cluniac Priory are the best preserved in the country. The village is sited on the ancient Peddars' Way, and the area offers ample opportunities for good walking and cycling. The beautiful North Norfolk coast and the cities of Norwich and Cambridge are within easy travelling distance. Peddars Cottage is a modern cottage-style house next to the ancient Bailey Gate in the centre of the historic village of Castle Acre. It has been recently renovated and provides comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. The cottage is close to the village shops and pub/restaurants, and only a short walk away from the castle, priory and river. This property is in an ideal location for exploring Norfolk.
