This peaceful village, which is within a conservation area, has a shop and a traditional pub. Longborough lies between the historic towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, which have quality shops, pubs and restaurants.
Longborough is a good base from which to visit Sezincote gardens, the Cotswold Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre and Sudeley Castle. Longborough Festival Opera in late June and July is a worthwhile visit.

This peaceful village, which is within a conservation area, has a shop/cafe and a traditional pub that serves food. Longborough lies between the historic towns of Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold, which have quality shops, pubs and restaurants. For the more active Longborough is an excellent centre for longer walking, cycling and other country pursuits.
Moreton-in-Marsh, approximately three miles away, is on the direct line to London, journey time approximately one hour 40 minutes.
Longborough is a good base from which to visit many local sites - Sezincote gardens, the Cotswold Farm Park, Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre. It is also within easy driving distance of other popular attractions including Stratford Upon Avon and Sudeley Castle and a short train ride to Oxford (from the local train station in Moreton-in-Marsh).
Longborough Festival Opera, is a worthwhile visit but advanced bookings are recommended - www.lfo.org.uk. The village is also a good base for the Cheltenham Festival on 10th -13th March 2015.
