This pretty little village has shops butchers fish & chip shop and a pub and is central to many of the county s attractions. Quiet country lanes for walking and cycling with nearby golf and fishing. Norwich is 13 miles away for castles museums theatres and restaurants and 5 miles from Dereham with restaurants pubs and shops there is an hourly bus service to both. The coastal towns of Blakeney where you can take a boat trip or Wells-next-the-Sea for long stretches of sandy beaches can be reached within the hour. Norwich Airport is 16 miles away and pick-ups can be arranged & only a 20 minute drive from University of East Anglia. An hours drive to the popular Suffolk coastal towns of Lowestoft and Southwold. Matt shall lies in the very heart of Norfolk, central to many of the county's attractions. There are a number of footpaths in the area with both fishing and golf available within four miles of the village. The market town of Dereham is five miles away and offers a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs as well as having a cinema and a sports centre. Matt shall itself has village shops and a pub, with a restaurant in Yaxham one and a half miles away.

Wayfarers Cottage is a very pleasant converted stable, which retains many original features. It is located next to a small wooded area on the owner's working farm, with access on request to their one acre attractive garden, which is home to waterfowl and free-roaming peafowl. It provides very comfortable, attractively furnished accommodation, which is all on one level, making it suitable for the less able. Shop: 1 mile Pub: 1 mile
