Guests will be conveniently placed for exploring the mid Norfolk area being approximately 2 miles west of East Dereham and 11 miles east of Swaffham. Within a few miles are a number of good restaurants and inns golf course ten pin bowling and a swimming pool and fitness centre including indoor bowls at Dereham Gressenhall Rural Life Museum Fakenham race course and the coastal towns of Wells and Blakeney. The steam train runs from Dereham to Wymondham. Norwich is close by with theatres cathedrals museums cinemas and shopping malls. The beautiful expanse of the Norfolk broads with picturesque villages nature reserves and day boat hire are easily accessible. Sandy beaches at Hunstanton with Sea Life Centre golf and boat trips to see the seals. Cromer famous for its freshly local caught crabs and end of pier entertainment and Amazona Zoo.
