Accommodation overview: Heron Cottage is a very good quality holiday cottage, located within the heart of the Cotswold Water Park on the popular Lower Mill Village. The cottage is set in a quiet area of the Lower Mill and enjoys a decking area which looks towards a grassed area and Clearwater Lake beyond. This is a great location for families with superb facilities all within easy reach, but is also ideal for couples who want to relax with some brilliant walks (including the Thames Path) and also a good quality local pub, which is about 15 mins walk away. Accommodation overview: Lawrence House is a spacious and very welcoming property at the Cotswolds Lakes that certainly excites us here! The property, which is located in a quiet corner of the Lower Mill Village, is a detached home sitting on the banks of a River Thames tributary with views looking towards the lakes beyond. In fact the owner tells us if you like to fish, you can't be better situated - fishing on your own private lake!! This particular holiday cottage has many positive elements as well as its location but in particular it has access to a large and private garden area which sits overlooking the lake and which is exclusive to guests in this cottage! Internally, the owner has maintained the cottage to a high standard and provides a contemporary holiday home ideal for families or small groups alike. Naturally the outdoor facilities, including the outdoor heated pool and tennis court not to mention the endless walks and cycle rides make this a very desirable cottage. This can of course be booked with other cottages located nearby within the Lower Mill Village. Located within the Cotswolds' 450 acre Lower Mill Estate nature reserve and just a two minute stroll from the River Thames tributary, the property offers accommodation ideal for families with youngsters but also perfect for couples looking to relax. Internally, the cottage is welcoming and well furnished with your own grassed area outside, perfect for sitting / playing with small and shallow stream and lake beyond. The Lower Mill is particularly attractive for families as there are many activities on offer including an outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis court and walking as well as countless other activities nearby. In our opinion Kingfishers Cottage is perfect for families who are happy for their children to enjoy space and things to do or for those who would like the peace and quiet outside holiday times.
