The cottage is surrounded by enclosed lawned gardens, with heavily scented old roses and plenty of space for summer living, with room to kick a football around, and parking.
Lovely walks across fields and orchards are accessed directly from the cottage. For keen walkers there are hikes to Smallhythe Place (National Trust), the award winning 'Chapel Down' Vineyard and Restaurant, the Royal Military Canal, and the Saxon Shore Way.
