"We have just returned from a holiday at Crake Valley. First impressions was a lovely clean park and well presented. The caravans are home from home again very clean with everything provided. The caravans and lodges have ample space between them giving plenty of privacy and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. Situated in a lovely spot looking down on Coniston water great walks from the park and in a good spot to visit other areas within the Lake District."
Mrs J, 16 June 2009

"If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place then Crake Valley is the place to be. There are some beautiful walks in the surrounding area even just having a day relaxing in the wonderful well equipped caravan is the perfect relaxation tonic. If you fancy a night off from cooking then there is a great country pub at the cross roads in Torver where you can get a hearty meal at a reasonable price and the atmosphere is very warm welcoming and friendly - well recommended!!"

"Located with good scenic road access to the north/south lakes and nearby villages for provisions pub meals (Farmers Arms is excellent). A small secluded and quiet park which offers full amenities i.e. freezer/washing machine facilities and fully equipped and spotless caravans and a real bonus to find a DVD player! A friendly and helpful staff team and literally a 10 minite walk to lakeshore for day/evening walking (permitted pathways) and a daytime boat connection to the north lake end. Basically if you are looking for a 'back to nature' base to explore lakeland this caravan park offers everything. I am definitely going to use this park from now on for ALL my lakeland visits!"
