"An exceptionally clean caravan park with the added luxury of each caravan having its own private decking with table umbrella and chairs ideal for eating al fresco or that relaxing evening drink. The site is very very quietideal for a relaxing holiday. The caravans are all new and exceptionally cleanand the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.Ideal location for that leisurely cruise along Lake Ullswatershort walk to Pooley Bridge which is a very quaint village with a few shops and public houses and hotels. Caravan park is near Penrith which has excellent choices for shopping and groceries. Close to A66 which is one of the main routes to most of the tourist attractions." |

"The park is situated close to Pooley Bridge giving us easy access to the village amenities. It was great for walking from the door with Ullswater being so close. The staff in reception were really helpful on check in and ever though we didn't need their help during our stay I'm sure they would have catered for our every need. " |

"Hillcroft was just lovely. We stopped in a very high quality caravan with a lovely decking area in the very peaceful setting amongst the fields and hills. We were surprised we were given such a new caravan due to us bringing our dog which made a lovely change from other parks we've stayed in where you are given the older caravans if you bring a dog. The park was a 10 minute walk from Pooley Bridge village centre that had plenty of friendly pubs shops and tea rooms. A great starting point for many of the fell and lakeside walks and Ullswater Steamer pier. Just a 10 minute drive from Penrith Junstion 40 off M6 so really easy to get to and other places to visit while you're there. Highly recommended and we will definitley be returning. " |

"We have just returned from enjoyable 3 night stay at Hillcroft. Thought we had been allocated the wrong caravan at first because it was brand new (labels still on everything) with a lovely decking area with outdoor seating. An immaculate park with friendly staff very quiet but with a good shop. Only 200 yards from the village centre where good quality pubs outnumber the shops. Lake and steamers are within easy walking distance. " |
