This beautiful property is situated on the edge of the tranquil village of La Dornac with bar and restaurant so it is quiet without being isolated. The small town of Chavagnac is 1.5 kms away with shops for everyday items and a full range of shops and restaurants can be found in Terrasson, 8km or the lovely town of Sarlat, 30km. Try canoeing on the river at Montignac or tennis available in La Dornac. This area offers a superb variety of chateaux, ancient towns and vineyards to visit as well as wines to taste and gourmet food to sample. International airport: Bergerac 90km

The private pool is 9 x 4.5 x 1.3-2m depth, with roman steps and is protected by an immersion alarm. Next to it is a sunny terrace area. Behind the house is a second, grassy, garden area, facing east so providing a sunny breakfast spot.

The accommodation is all on one floor of this split level house and is reached either from the road side on the same level or by external stone steps leading to the main front door. Open verandah for dining with view to pool with door leading into the main open plan living space. Comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove and TV/DVD player plus music centre. Modern kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Dining area for 6 people. Sep WC. All on the same level are the bath/shower/WC. Sep WC and sep shower room. Bed 1: double, a light room with windows on two aspects with views over village and fields (one window is full length with balcony but has protective railing and the room is lockable). Bedroom 2: 2 singles. Bed 3: 2 singles. Cot and highchair on request. Heating is extra, usage is metered and payable locally. Between mid Sept - end of March, electricity is also extra, usage metered and payable extra. Any day start, 7 night min stay excluding July & August when Saturday changeover.
